I. Bughouse Chess

To find out what "Bughouse Chess" is all about, take a look at this book about it.

II. Interfaces for Chess

III. Interfaces for Crazyhouse Chess

IV. Other programs playing crazyhouse chess

Sunsetter is originally based on DeepBug. Many thanks to Ben Dean-Kawamura for the code and friendly advice when I started with the project.
Unfortunately, the websites of DeepBug and Skyshark seem to have vanished.. in our memories, those programs will live on.

The program Sjeng has a much happier story to tell. Having started as crazyhouse playing program as well, it's author has now developed a completely new, very strong commercial chess program called Deep Sjeng. In fact, it is a better alternative to Fritz & Co. if you would like to get a multi-processor version at no extra cost, direct support from the author, a linux version .. . See here for more info on Deep Sjeng. V. Chess programming ressources VI. Live Internet chess
